Green Energy Consumption

MWI Direct has recently completed an energy consumption initiative replacing 150, 40 year old 400 watt high-intensity discharge (HID) lights with 400, 18 watt high-intensity fluorescent (HIF) lights that deliver over 50% more light at half the energy usage. Installing energy-efficient lighting (HIF) has a positive environmental impact by reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
